The construction magnate is ready to officially announce his candidacy at the RITZ hotel in Madrid on Thursday. Fiorentino Perez was the president of Real Madrid for six years from 2000-2006 which included a champions league season in 2002 but three trophyless season saw him quit his post to be taken over temporarily by Fernando Martin and then Ramon Calderon.
